ANTWON // HELICOPTER
San Jose rapper Antwon had a killer song that required some murderous visuals. I've always wanted to mess with vintage footage but I'd seen the technique misused on a daily basis aound the internets. This was my chance to prove the world wrong and re-appropriate Hollywood's most classic car chase which was filmed around San Francisco. Joining Antwon on-screen are MondreMAN and Squadda B of Main Attrakionz as well as a bunch of other Bay Area beauties.

MISHKA NYC // SUMMER LOOKBOOK
Mishka is one of today's most highly respected New York streetwear clothing labels. For their Summer 2012 lookbook video, they sent me on a tour of the Bay Area to round up a who's who of the rising San Francisco/Oakland scene. Whether we're getting blazed at the scenic view with The Jealous Guys, crate digging with Anticon founding member Jel, or partying up with Trill Team 6, you know we'll have a good day in the bay.

CHIPPY NONSTOP // BITCH, I BOUGHT IT OUT!
An unrepentant Oakland party monster, Chippy Nonstop is a fierce fury of smuggled-in booze and incessant tweeting. Collaborating on singles with acts like Major Lazer and Stunnaman of The Pack, she finally released her first solo EP this Spring. To celebrate, we collaborated on a music video for one of the hottest tracks. Insanity ensues.

MONDRE MAN (MAIN ATTRAKIONZ) // SURPRISE
1/2 of Oakland's rising rap duo Main Attrakionz, MondreMAN delivered his signature sound on the "M.A.N." solo EP. To launch the album's release we decided to collaborate on a video. Just another Oakland evening in the life of Mondre and crew.

SQUADDA BAMBINO // WE HOTT
As 1/2 of Main Attrakionz, the self-proclaimed "best duo ever", Squadda Bambino doubles as both producer and rapper. Hailing from the concrete streets of north Oakland, Squadda possesses one of the most interesting and refreshing sounds in the crowded world of today's rap underground. These visuals take you on a ride through the darkened alleys of his home turf, while the lyrics are a testament to where he's come from and where he's going.

PETER WOLF CRIER // UNTITLED 101
A few dozen people crammed into the Habitat attic for an intimate live performance with Peter Wolf Crier. Captured with grace, you are transported into the cramped and confidential space, if only for a short while. Wait scratch that, it's just a great show.

THE TREE RING // KICKSTARTER VIDEO
The Tree Ring had the music, but not the means to make their breathtaking new album. The band decided to take this up with their fans and crowd-sourced the funding to produce the project. The video helped the band exceed their financial goal and the record can now be acquired here.

TRAFFIQUE // NORA
This music video was shot during one of Traffique's rare live appearances. Cut precisely and mixed tastefully with old archive footage of flight, the video/song combination has an airy, weightless feel. Traffique is the cross-dressing alter-ego of Austin's Red Hunter/Peter & the Wolf.

INVISIBLE CHILDREN & CHARITY WATER // HAITI CAMPAIGN
After January's devastating earthquake rocked Haiti, Invisible Children felt compelled to act and pledged $100,000 to recovery efforts in partnership with charity: water. This video is the heart of the online campaign to raise awareness and funds for Haiti. Clean and rich, with an emphasis on clarity.

DAVID RAMIREZ // SHOEBOXES
Impromptu "take away show" performance by Austin based David Ramirez. An uncommon location and clean audio were my top priorities. One take, one cut.
